Walking on Snow

Walking on Snow I like walking on snow because it changes the whole world into something softer and quieter. Every step makes a crisp, satisfying crunch that you don’t get on any other surface. The air feels sharper and cleaner, and the light reflects off the ground so everything seems brighter, even on a cloudy day. I like leaving footprints behind me—this little trail that proves I was there, knowing the next snowfall will erase it. There’s also a calm that comes with it; sounds are muffled, streets are slower, and it feels like time has eased up a bit just so you can enjoy the moment of walking through the cold, bright stillness.
