The Importance of Kindness Kindness is like a bright light in our world. Imagine you are walking on a dark road, and someone shines a light for you. That light is like kindness. It helps us see and feel warm and happy. Kindness is when we do something nice for others without waiting for them to do something nice back.  Why is kindness important?
