Enchanted Forest
Tom is a 12-year-old boy who loves adventure. Last weekend, he visited his grandparents who live by a large, enchanted forest. Grandpa Joe, who was a storyteller, often told him tales of the mystical creatures and ancient trees that dwell within the woods. On Saturday morning, after a breakfast of pancakes and syrup, Tom decided to explore the forest. With a backpack filled with a sandwich, an apple, a map, and a water bottle, he set off on his journey. As he ventured deeper into the forest, he saw birds of various colors and heard the rustle of leaves under the footsteps of unseen animals. Suddenly, he stumbled upon a clearing where sunlight filtered through the tall trees. In the center stood a giant oak, which seemed to be the oldest tree in the forest. Tom remembered Grandpa Joe mentioning the 'Wise Oak' in his stories. Excited, he approached it and found a small, hidden door at the base of the tree trunk.
