Jane is 25 years old. She usually feels healthy, but sometimes she has small health problems. She works in an office and sits at a desk all day. In the evening, she often feels tired and has a headache. Her eyes hurt because she looks at the computer for many hours.
Jane wants to feel better, so she decides to change her habits. First, she goes to bed earlier. Now she sleeps 8 hours every night. She also drinks more water and less coffee. At lunch, she chooses a salad or soup instead of fast food. She eats more fruit and vegetables, like apples, bananas, carrots, and tomatoes.
Twice a week, Jane goes to the gym. She does simple exercises: she walks on the treadmill, rides the bicycle, and stretches her arms and legs. On weekends, she takes a walk in the park with her friends. Fresh air and sunshine make her feel happy and relaxed.
Sometimes Jane has a cold in winter. She coughs and has a sore throat. When she is sick, she stays at home, drinks tea with honey, and rests in bed. She doesn’t go to work because she doesn’t want to make other people sick.
After a few months, Jane feels stronger and more energetic. She doesn’t have headaches every day now, and she sleeps well at night. She understands that good health is very important. Small changes in daily life can help prevent many health problems and improve her well-being.
