5. Model Text (Example)

Read this example:

In the future, I’m going to work hard at school. Next year I’m going to study English and math more because I need them for my future job. I’m also going to join the school football team.

When I’m older, I’d like to be a doctor because I want to help people. I think I’ll work in a big hospital in another country. I’d like to live in Canada or the UK, and I’ll learn English very well.

My dream is to travel around the world. I’m going to save money and I’ll visit many countries one day. I hope I will be happy and healthy in the future.

When you finish, check:

- Do you have “going to”, “will”, and “would like to”?

- Do you use some future time expressions (next year, in the future, one day…)?

- Is your text about 80–120 words?
